| Canada Day Parade

The Canada Day Parade marches off at 9 am from the Sobeys parking lot and winds its way to 2.7 kilometres down Sackville Drive. Dispersal will be in the vicinity of Rock Church.
We expect more than 60 entries in the parade and have 12 categories of prizes.

| Teddy Bear Picnic |
| A free event, the Teddy Bear Picnic is held each year at the gazebo in Kinsmen Park.
The Teddy Bear Picnic features rides, games, entertainment, and give-aways for kids. |
| Second Lake Trail
Walk |
You are invited to participate in
this weekend walk at Second Lake Park, Sackville, Nova Scotia.
The walk will start at the Great Oak Trail, assembling near
Crimson Drive.
WHAT: Enjoy Nature & a Summer Walk at Second Lake Park
TIME: 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. |

ROUTE:
- Walk through majestic forests
and stroll along the shores of pristine and gorgeous blue Second Lake; view spectacular peninsulas and coves along the way
Interpretative walk – there will be an individual along to assist with any questions about the trees and flowers viewed along the
trail.
Remember to wear appropriate footwear!

| Fireworks

The fireworks will be ignited at dusk on June 30th from barges anchored offshore from Kinsmen Park on First Lake. Best viewing site is Kinsmen Park or the shore of the lake.
The fireworks are due to start at dusk, so come early to ensure the best viewing spot.

| Each year we have a number of new bands performing prior
to the fireworks in Kinsman Park.

| Springfield
Lake Recreation Street Dance |
| The
Springfield Lake Recreation Association are hosting a Street
Dance on the tennis court at the Rec Centre. This popular event
has been enjoyed by residents of the Springfield Lake area
for many years, but has been rescheduled during
Patriot Days so all residents of
Sackville can participate. Music is by a popular disc Jockey
and admission is free. Call 865-9449. |
